I had to post this comment as a separate post because I know not everyone goes to the comments section. It is worth the read."Cousin Diana....what a touching tribute to Mom...or as our family calls her, Big J. She is truly amazing, laughs everyday and drives, even at night! Her three kitties keep her entertained, each wanting to get on her lap and give her a snuggle. She sleeps with all three, one on her pillow, one next to her side and the other at the foot of her bed. She won't use her cane, she thinks it makes her look old, but with two new hips, she says she can go another ten years. And go she does, she plays bridge four times a week, travels to Maui and plays poker once a month with the girls. This past year she has been going down memory lane, reading Dad's letters from the South Pacific during WWII, looking at old pictures and talking alot about her life. Maybe she is getting ready to join her sisters on the other side...she is ready and not afraid. Thank you again for sharing your Aunty June with the world...she will be excited to see your blog..I will go over and show her on her computer, which she is afraid to turn on.. love you Diana, Cousin Karen"
Karen, tell her parasailing is MUCH more dangerous than turning on her computer!!! Hahahaha! THANK you again for the photos and stories. What a gift. I love you too! Diana
