I have been pathetically absent in getting good photos of my puppy. It was so much better when Sue was coming here every week to inhale her puppy and take cute photos. Now, I don't want you to think Sage is ugly and that's why I'm not photographing her. So to tide you over (or maybe just me) here are some photos of her playing on our bed. She's so funny because I started to put her up on the bed a few weeks ago (it's high off the ground) and she'll run really fast and skid at the edges, knowing she doesn't want to go there. On our headboard is some feathery Indian Dreamcatcher thing that I love (I think my first champion Lakota won it at a Specialty in Arizona). Sage runs towards it really fast then never touches it. I'm shocked because she's not shy about ANYTHING else to put her sharp little teeth on. This makes me happy because I would be kinda mad if she munched it. Smart Sage Brush.
Now she'll run really fast the other way.
Then she'll bark over and over and over and over and over REALLY HIGH!
So I stick a toy in her face and she shuts up. She and Thrill always did the Helen Keller playing, rarely making a nose. Not with me. I guess I don't have that special language she & Thrill have.
Then she'll pose in front of the "Tais" painting.
And show off her big round muzzle and long head.
Earlier today T & I went to Home Depot and I took Sage for her first official outing on a leash and walking around. She was a little tentative of some of the flooring, but worked thru it and did quite well on the leash. We have to do that more this next couple of weeks. Home Depot is the best place for socializing puppies and most people just love the dogs there.
Anyway, coming home, she was exhausted, so was fast asleep in my arms in minutes. Poor puppy girl.
