Thrill had his first tracking lesson today. I was so excited to hear how he did I called Sue before I could get home from getting my hair done (3 hours) and gas (15 min) and the market (1 hour ~ but any amount of time I don't like....). Anyway, she told me how adorable Thrill was and sent me photos. I told her I must have photos so here they are!!
Is he just not ADORABLE????????????????? God I love him!!!
Cute, cute, cute!!!
I will venture to say for those of you who don't know anything about tracking and I actually got a TD on my first collie Kiita, that I'd say the pink thingy thing in the foreground is the starting flag and the orange thing in the background is the ending flag.......
Puppy Professional!!! Look at the nice tension on the line already!!
Oh oh oh!!! Poser!!! This is today. Lookie at that neck!!!!
Sue said Thrill had a little bit of trouble at first looking for food on the track rather than in her hands, where it's always been, but after a couple of tracks, he was on to it like the tracking puppy pro he is. I suspect he'll be getting a TD by the time he's 6 monthish........
I am so THRILLED for Sue to have this puppy I could just scream! For someone who has the background in collies with finishing many champions including winning a Best In Show at an All-Breed Show from the WORKING GROUP (before AKC instituted the Herding Group) and putting titles on her collies in tracking, obedience, agility and ??? I just hope this little boy is everything she has ever wanted in a collie and becomes her "Heart Dog"...........my dream for her. Love you Thrill!! I can't wait to get more updates!!!
