I'm really pushing my mega-whatever minutes on my monthly internet hookup doo doo because of trying to download 5 tracking videos 2 weeks ago on YouTube that never made it. But I can't help it. I love to blog. So I hope to make it by the 13th of next month before I go over.
Here is Donna on Lily, ponying Atos, her 3 yr. old grey gelding Atos. Ali'i was SOOO PISSED that he had to be behind the juvenile that every time we trotted Chubby would pin his ears so far back it looked like he had no ears and then would bite Atos on the butt. Ha ha Ali'i.
In general, we had a GREAT time today. Using the GPS and letting us know how pathetically SLOW we are in our travels, as least we know we travel. We took all these obscure single track trails we've never been on, then I had to be the GPS at the end because Donna had to get back for a staff meeting at work. She wanted to go one way, I said no, go this way. I am so cool. This is why she is my friend.
Another version of kinda the same thing.
I had an um, problem......like I had to stop now and all I can say is I'm glad for thinking ahead on items to carry.......Somehow I knew I'd be photographed by her. She laughs. I laugh. We both laugh and ride on.
iPhone stuff.......hold the phone straight ahead but make it take a photo of you and what's behind you. Doesn't Donna have very white teeth?? In person they are icy blue. This is a fact.
Atos must have gotten loose from Donna 12 times on this ride. More or less the same every ride when she takes him. We think he just wanted to be in front or was tired of getting bit on the ass by Ali'i. So he trots ahead and is tough. He's a really nice horse. I even like Lily now because she hasn't kicked us since Washoe in May, 8 months ago.
Now, Chubby, better known as Ali'i went thru a muddy water crossing like he'd never done it before in his life and just about tossed me in it. You'd never know he had one of those famous frickin' Tevis buckles. He was shaking at his own ability to make the water swish in front of him. Omg. He was awful for a minute (or 10) but I love him soooo much I can hardly stand it. Smooshy mushy Ali'i.
