I am not the happiest person lately, laying around for hours on end, keeping my leg up. It's changed looks, the leg. From swollen with hardly any color, to a huge, burgandy, blistered look 2 weeks ago that finally burst open this last week (??). I mean, it wasn't anything Monty Pythonish, but icky enough to be um, interesting. And it hurts. It feels like a hot iron is on my leg every time I get the leg vertical, or walk on it. It is healing, but sooooo slow. I'm ready to do something fun and this is not it. And, actually fun would be to just take care of my dogs and pick up my own doggie doo doo.
Anyway, Kathie came last week, (or was it the week before?) to bathe all of the punkies. It was nice to get her over here to do that, in addition to Sue & Penny cleaning my dog yard on Khaliq's birthday, and then Linda T coming over today to de-fluff Sage, Tirzah and Soleil. Linda said Soleil was sooo fluffy (and she's already shed coat out). She IS a PUFF BALL. There is so much fur everywhere too. I'll be looking forward to getting back to walking normally and be able to brush everyone again on my own. I so appreciate the help from my friends though and that is so nice.
These doggies are next.
While Kathie was bathing the dogs her phone kept neighing. This cracked me up ~ Kathie has the BEST horse neighing ringtone I've ever heard. Now, I'm not saying she's deaf or anything, but it was quite loud AND realistic. Everytime it went off I'd look around to see what my horses were neighing at and then realize again, it was her phone. Well, after about 3x's the girls, Aura, Summer and Khaliq came galloping over to see who was on our property. Aura was VERY concerned as she wanted to make sure she let them know who rules the pasture (her). Khaliq was very excited, as she just thinks everyone comes to see her and gush about her outstanding beauty, and Summer......well she was posed in case it was a cute boy. They were soooo funny! Good girls. Sabi & Tahoe could give a shit. I guess it wasn't their day to worry.
So, another week has passed. Another week closer to Tevis. Waaaaaaaaa..............
