It's been about 4 months now that I sent the "SeaB's in his last days" email. I really thought he was a goner. My vet thought so too and one of the times he had that very high fever, after spending a night in emergency with him, I took him in and she had the blanket on the ground.....the dreaded blanket. That weekend my vet said I could call her if he had taken a turn for the worse. I had arranged for her to come to the house if I was going to send him on to Pierre. Very sad.
SeaB's been on several supplements in addition to indefinate antibiotics. My vet also started him on this supplement called "K9 Immunity" http://www.k9-doghealth.com/k9-immunity-plus
This supplement is to support cancer patient dogs but I gotta say I saw the most improvement in his face & haircoat after a month on this supplement. I never posted photos of how bad he looked, but this is not the same dog 4 months ago, or even a year ago. Biscuit is back!!!
I originally was just going to take photos of how much grass we already have in the pasture, but SeaB was with me and I thought of his face too and that was way more cool!
