I am going to have plenty of time to blog but I am kinda tired......not exhausted like with Tirzah's last litter, but would love to sleep for several hours without worrying about the babies.
Soleil is a wonderful mom and what I love best about all of this is she's not stressing if the other collies are in the bedroom. They are much more animated with the babies and she just stays put.
Here's the first born sable girl. I may call her Noel.
The second sable girl is on the right with more white on her collar. The sable merle boy has the least amount of white. Like 3 small spots on the back of his neck. One thing I know is if the dog has lots of neck it doesn't matter if they have white or not.
Here's SquishyB! This puppy has such beautiful blue markings. I have had blues in my 2 other mahogany sable x sable merle litters and except for Roxy from my first litter who had this clear blue, almost white blue, my other blues were not so striking. The other side of him, he has a patch of grey, so he really has black, grey and this light blue in his coat. Needless to say I can't take my eyes off of him.....
When I got up this am, I decided to take a couple of photos with the Nikon. We still have snow here, but the vegatation was showing thru this afternoon. Poor collies didn't get to go for a run because of the babies! Anyway, here is Sitka. Alaska is out in the pasture but I can't find her in the photo.
That's all for now!
