Ok, I barely remembered Sage's 3rd birthday on Sept. 13. She got a "Happy Birthday" from me and a pet on the head. Thrill was off doing incredible things in Agility. What a dog!!
Cardiffinessssss is in a new home. I think most of you know, as most of you are on FB. She was still at Julie's after her failed litter and with all the changes here, I needed to let her go. Even without what has been going on, it's how I can breed again at some point, so I don't end up with 25 dogs. Someone had mentioned why was I placing my dogs if I was feeling overdogged and then was going to breed again and I think that's the point. It's how we don't become "Elaine Kimiecs" with her 120++ collies. Ugggg......and I sold that woman two "My Toys" off of Ebay for $400. I had to donate some of it back to the rescue. So sad.
Anyway, Cardy was placed with Cathy & Robert in Southern California. They originally had Ray, Kaia's Anchorman son, who I placed with them at 1 1/2 years old. After he died, they got Cory, Soleil & Ty's brother, but he passed away mysteriously soon after they had gotten him. Such a hard thing to deal with but they still wanted one of mine or Julie's collies. I was so distraught about things and wanted Cardiff to go to the right home, so prayed that the right home would show up. 2 hours later Cathy's name popped into my head so I FB'd her and 20 minutes later she was calling me.
Cardiff is doing so well at their place she looks like she has always lived there.
They feed raw and I told them Cardiff is a shop vac. I don't think Niffy's ever missed a meal. I'll see her when I go to Southern California for the specialties in October. I may have to do some trimming on those feet (!!). Anyway, I get updates every day and am so happy she is there. Cardiff deserves her own family. So, that's what's up with my doggies!
