Sue & I met today at a park between us to train some obedience and do "run-thrus" with Sage & Jif. Good to know because both of us need to do THIS more often! Sage got better as we worked and I found when I actually concentrated on where I was heeling, like keeping a straight line, she was so much better. We really suck as handlers sometimes wanting our dogs to be straight and not forge, or lag and if we would pay attention to our own bodies more, the dogs would follow....so Note to Self.
I brought Kai who was 9 months old yesterday and he was a good boy, in a bad way. Seems I can't move him because he attacks my feet, pocket, hands.....it's amazing I have gotten as far as I have in dog ring life....but what I do know, is they grow out of it....or I get tougher after I've had enough and been dumped enough. Seems Tirzah was HORRIBLE in the ring as a young puppy and also Miss Soleil. Omg. It's amazing the things they did. But I laugh.....So, Kai can be a little nerd, but if he wasn't in Bred-By, it seems I should hire Sue as my handler.....
He's still so immature, but for my dogs, carries a nice coat. I just see lack of hang so lack of balance but I think he's going to be stunning when he's a mature 3 year old. He's all male and also reminds me of Cole when he gaits....when he gaits....so funny.....
Ok so here are the YouTube videos. For some reason I can't figure out how to post them here rather than the link. Anyone know?
Ok, I suck. Plain and simple. Sue had to take over.
Sue is amazing.
All I see is Kai's topline rolling, but he has awesome side gait. He will be so much fun when he's all settled and mature. I love my big baby boy! ♥♥♥
