My photography class is almost done. I'll be working in the darkroom for several hours this week to finish up my projects but here are a few I like. The first one of Sitka is my favorite as the "colors" are best in it. Nice rich blacks with a nice range of tones to white. It's prettier in person as I took it with my iPhone. The photo that is of the 4 horses (Sabi was out eating grass), I'm going to re-do to see if I can get some nicer tones in the horses, not so dark.
The bottom photo is of Dina's Ragdoll Troy. It's sorta a round-about way I'm completing a project as we had to photograph something that tied in with a song lyric, bible verse, famous saying. So with this I'm going to write across the black part on the bottom "Let. Them. Eat. Cake." by Marie Antoinette (or so we think she said that).
Anyway, I'm kinda sad to have the class come to an end, as I've gotten attached to a couple of people AND I love the darkroom aspect of making photos. It's sooooooo old-school but there is something very satisfying about it. I could take another class, but I'll probably wait a little bit to see how I feel.
